Description:
The central message of the film is to enjoy life and try to fill it with as many interesting activities as possible. The heart of the story is Matvey, a 14-years-old professional table tennis player. The supportive characters are his instructors and other children Matvey trains with.At the beginning of the film, we meet the main character of the story, Matvey. He introduces himself, and he explains that he is a professional table tennis player. We see a couple of establishing shots, which demonstrate Matvey in action. He also explains how much time he spends training every day.In the middle of the film, Matvey explains that table tennis is not the only thing he is interested in. He talks about his schedule, where he combines school, sports, and additional English lessons. It may create an impression that the teenager is engaged in too many activities at such a young age, and it causes pressure on him; however, he explains that he enjoys whatever he does and hopes it will help him to get into a good university when he is older. The film can be interesting to a wide audience. Younger viewers will get motivated from watching Matvey’s passion. The adult audience can get inspired by the sportsman, and every parent would be motivated to make their children play sports for various reasons. The film can also be potentially interesting for the universities’ admissions teams since it can demonstrate Matvey’s talent and make him stand out when he applies to the schools.
